Informal Conversation

The first step in seeking support from Grays Therapy is to book a telephone conversation with us. This involves a brief discussion about your concerns and what support you might be looking for. This helps us to to establish if our service is the most appropriate and helpful one for your needs. The telephone conversation is free of charge. What to expect from your appointments

Initial Assessment

If after our informal conversation we both feel that our service can help, we will arrange to meet for a face-to-face assessment. In this appointment we can talk a bit more about the things that have led to you seeking therapy. Towards the end of this session, we will discuss potential options for therapy. If we do agree to work together we will agree the number of sessions, which will be reviewed regularly with you. This session is charged at the normal rate.

Therapy Sessions

Following the assessment and having agreed with you your goals for therapy, your subsequent therapy sessions will last for one hour. The frequency of sessions will be discussed and agreed with you at assessment depending on your needs. Your progress will be reviewed and discussed regularly with you throughout the course of your therapy. 

Fees

Fees may vary depending on the therapist, location and your needs. This will be discussed with you during your informal conversation. Fees can be paid on a sessional basis or you can pay in advance for a course of therapy, depending on your preference. Payment is required 48 hours in advance to secure your appointment. We will send you payment instructions upon booking.
